I would like to express my strong concern about the Tata Indicom VSNL broadband service and also my displeasure and dissatisfaction with their service.
Its not even 20 days since I have subscribed to a VSNL broadband connection, and have already made payments of Rs 1000 & Rs 1280 already and yet I dont get to enjoy the
service when I need to. I cannot understand why even after making prompt payments I am being forced to go through this pain..
Moreover, they collect the payment in advance even for a post paid connection. My service got activated on September 29th 2006 and come 1st October I got a bill of Rs 1280 + tax. Apparently the Rs 1200 monthly charges is for the duration October 1st to October 31st. And now there is no service..
If I am not prompt in my payment they conveniently disconnect the service and charge the customer a late fee, on the other hand if we are not happy with the service or this is no timely resolution they dont give us a waiver. Is this not a gross injustice to the consumers?
The resolution was promised to me within a 24 hour window but now it seems a distant dream to me.. Let alone fixing the problem, I dont even have a single response / feedback or information from the technical crew as to what the problem is and how soon it can/will be fixed.
The 24x7 Customer care is there but not there.. they
are available on call, but are of no use as such.
Other than repeating and reaffirming that the problem
is being investigated they are of not much help.
