I recently ported to Idea from Uninor. The connection was activated on 18/8/2012.I recharged it for Rs200/- and wanted to activate a ISD pack. I have been trying to do this since noon on 22/8/2012. At the customer service centre where they recharged the phone , I was told to dial a code from my phone and that activation would be done and the amount deducted from the balance. However every time I attempt it I get an error message.I have called the customer care at least 50 times. Each time I get to speak to a rep who wants to know the problem and suggests a different code-none of which work. At last on 22/8/2012, I spoke to a supervisor, Mr. Mahadev , who registered a complaint and assured me that it would be handled in 14 working hours. Nothing has happened so far. Each time I call the customer care, I am put on hold for a long period(these calls are charged), then informed that the call will be transferred to a supervisor, and then disconnected. After the third attempt, I do not get to talk to any service rep at all and get a recorded message saying that the call is not allowed and to try after 24 hours. The complaint number is 1-26860741285
I have wasted at least 6-8 hours of time on this and do not foresee any resolution of this problem as at the cstomer service centre they insist that I do it on the phone.
