Several months ago I totaled my GM Envoy ( air bags never deployed with front end collision) I inquired with GMC about my gap insurance and was told I was covered and would owe nothing. I contacted th dealer and was told where to look on my contract. I received athreatning letter saying I must pay 650.00 immidiately, 500 for the deductable and 150 in fees. None of which is on the contract. I recently bought another GMC Envoy right after accident before this happened. I ran credit report and the full gap amount $4589.00 is still on my report. My ins payed the gap amount in on 7/27 they will not remove the full amount until I pay what they claim I owe thus wrongly affecting my credit report . I filed disputed claim with atturney generals office I told them go ahead and leave the disputed amount on my report however you have no right to leave full amount that has been payed. I was treated rudely and the told me no. This was a GM employee family deal and the 3rd gm vehicle I have owned, however I will never use them again. I hope the 650.00 was woth 28,000 in future business.  

Solution of your complaintI was lied to on the contract and they should tell the consumer gap does not cover deductable and GMAC service fee. It is no where on the GMAC contract. I feel I should not have to pay the amount because of false advertisement and I am furious over the false amount left on my credit report. I think the whole gap insurance department should be severly reprimended or terminated for fraud. 
ActionClass action lawsuit against dealer, GMAC for false advertisement and seek damages for false credit data not removed and placed on my account. There is no upper management to even complain to or have problem resolved. My credit will be effected for a false amount and not even the disputed amount ruining my credit score until the Atturney General resolves. I am angry can anyone help?
