I had given Rs 50,000/- as Booking advance of Flat # 2043/A JPLV-II. Bill # 15073 dated 03/07/2005 via ICICI Cheque # 300718. I did not receive any communication from the developers(Engineers Syndicate (India) Pvt Ltd.) regarding further developments for nearly 1 year. In this context since it was bit delayed, I approached the builder on 19/08/06 and Mr. P Narender Reddy told that he would reimburse Rs 50,000/- if I give in writing that I wish to cancel the booked flat since the cost of the flat has increased from Rs 1225 Per Sqft to Rs 2100 Per Sqft. Mr. P. Narender Reddy told that a cheque of Rs 50,000/- would be sent to your mailing address. He showed a list of letters of which some of the letters were not posted at all. Since after waiting for nearly 2.5 months I approached Engineers Syndicate(India) Pvt Ltd on 12/Nov/06 and was shocked to see that Mr P Narendar Reddy handing over a cheque of Rs 22,000 which is less than 50% of the amount which I had paid and asking me to sign on an vochuer. I refused to collect the cheque and returned back Engineers Syndicate (India) Pvt Ltd. First of all I am not asking any interest for the amount paid by me, I am asking the premium amount paid by me. Now wish to claim the interest for the amount paid by me from the builder Engineers Syndicate (India) Pvt Ltd.
