M-800 was flooded upto 5-ft during floods in Surat from 6-8-06 to 13-8-06. Sent for repairs to dealer Dhru Motors, Udhna, Surat on 16-8-06. Intimation of completion of repair on 17-11-06.Bill Rs.77,736=00. National insurance company will pay Rs. 43,000=00. My share is rest. Maruti will reimburse Rs. 8,700=00. My policy is not cashless nor it has Maruti tie-up. So, my share comes to aboutRs. 26,000=00 approx. Maruti and dealer had given adds in local dailies that they will give 50% reimbursement on the amount to be paid by the customer after insurance settlement. Customers with Maruti insurance have cashless facility and have to pay up about Rs. 15,000=00 for the same car for the same repairs carried out. And my amount comes to almost double this. My insurance policy was recommended and given by the dealer on buying the car in 2001. I have never been informed about the cashless option by them until this floods. I believe in this times of our crisis Maruti should also stand by customers like us who do not have a cashless policy.

Solution of your complaintMaruti should give equivalent facilities and reimbursement to customers and not indulge in unfair trade practices.
ActionFuture association and customer loyalty may suffer and will consider buying from their competitors.
