We bought extended warranty for our laptop and printer from HP. The Products Bought by us: 1 Compaq Pressario Notebook with Serial Number: CNF6091178 1 HPOJ 5610P All in One with Serial Number: CN5CMDF13Z Carepack: We were offered a care pack for these products which we bought by paying Compton Computers (an authorized reseller of HP)Rs 7,500 through cheque number 173118 drawn on Standard Chartered Bank dated 14 July 06. The cheque was duly deposited by Compton computers and funds were transfered from our account.
It is now 5 months and we have not received our care pack and we have been following up regularly. We have been getting vague replies from Compton and answers such as "Contact HP, we have nothing to do with this". We have been repeatedly told that "Louiza is on leave and she is one dealing with it - we cannot help you".
When we finally wrote to the President of HP - Balu Dorisamy at HP website a, then they responded with a promise to send our pack by 10th December. But like all other promises, you have broken this one also. After a lot more follow up, we received a mail with certificate for Laptop but not the printer
Solution of your complaint
1. We want the refund of our money with penal interest.
2. We want a letter of apology from HP for all the harassment we have undergone
3. Any further action that HP may wish to take and any compensation that HP may wish to provide.
