Dear Sir,
Recently I purchased a Reliance mobile connection during Augustí06. I bought this connection after an offer being made by a Reliance representative to provide the last 5 same number as that of my BSNL Connection, and also about free talk time of Rs. 300x6 months with the new connection at my office. To start with when the phone got activated, to my surprise it was totally a different number, then after repeated arguments, the number was changed. Then the Free Talk time was not provided, after three months I was sent an SMS confirming the free talk time offer. Which is not activated till date. It takes a very long time to reach your customer service officials over phone, even after reaching them most 50% of the times the systems wont be working, and needs a return call, they wont even record the query and call back, and insist for a call back from the customer. I have even spoken to Reliance supervisors, who always assure of some service, but which hardly happens. The phone I bought had a very low battery, for which I was advised to take to LG service centers around 10 kms from my location that too b/w 10-6 or change the handset, and I was also told that LG handsets had such problems, which is yet to be checked. I was advised to change the handset, but was never told that the talk time offer was applicable if and only if I used the old handset, and that it would not be provided if I change the handset. I changed the handset to Nokia 6265 in December. It was only I registered a complaint, I was informed that the offer would not be available as I had changed the handset. In any case I had used the LG handset for Three months for which Reliance is suppose to provide the offer, Reliance now claims that they delete the details of previous offers when a customer changes the handset- really a baseless claim, and now directs to go to Webworld around 12Km, and again Webworld directs to customer care endless loop. My experience has forced me to get to a conclusion that the services of reliance are rarely reliable. Kindly suggest where can I Lodge my complaint against the Service Provider.
