I have deposited a cheque for Rs.46,250.39 dated 24.12.06 on 24.12.06 at SBI Branch at Sector-1, RK Puram, New Delhi-22 after confirming the full and final payment due on the card from their customer service centre. The due date for receiving the cheque was 26.12.06. Yet, they claim that they have not received any cheque and are adding interest on the total amount, unnecessarily inflating the bill...What kind of system is this? 

Solution of your complaintI think they should firstly, confirm that the cheque has been received, reverse the interest illegally charged to my card and have the courtesy to apologise for the inconvenience caused to me. They should take immediate steps to tighten up their cheque collection system from their drop boxes.
