I BOUGHT THE LARGEST AYRSIRE CONSERVATORY AND ALSO A CAMBRIDGE 2.4 X 2.4 I AM NOT VERY HAPPY WITH ANY OF THE STAFF WHO I HAVE DEALT WITH OVER MY COMPLAINT AND I WANT TO KNOW WHY WICKES HAVE THE RIGHT TO GIVE OUT NAMES OF THEIR SO CALLED APPROVED BUILDERS WHEN THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF 1. IF THEY ARE ACTUALLY BUILDERS IN THE FIRST PLACE.2. HOW THEY CAN PASS ON WORK TO THESE PEOPLE WHEN UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE LIKE ME ARE PAYING THOUSANDS FOR CONSERVATORIES AND TRUST WICKS COMPLETELY I FIND IT CRIMINAL THAT I ENDED UP WITH 2 CONSERVATORIES WITH A MULTITUDE OF MISTAKES EG DOORS THE WRONG WAY ROUND, A HOLE IN THE FRAMEWORK THAT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME AS BEING AN EXPANSION GAP(YEAH RIGHT) AND WATER COMING IN FROM ALL DIRECTIONS. JUST HOW CAN THIS BE A SERVICE ? I TRUSTED EVERYONE EVEN THE SALES MAN AND I HAVE FOUND OUT TO MY DETRIMENT IT IS JUST ABOUT MONEY THESALESMAN GETS HIS SHARE FROM THE COMMISSION AND THEN NO ONE GIVES A DAMN. FROM THE VERY FIRST INSTANCE THE DELIVERY WAS WRONG, THE ORDERING WAS EVEN WRONG I WAS TOLD I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED OFF THE DELIVERY . HOW IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO CHECK WHEN THE PAPERWORK WAS WRONG OR AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT MY CONSERVATORY NEEDED A LONGER CILL BOARD OR A RIGHT HAND HANGING DOOR AND NOT A LEFT. I AM DISMAYED THE BUILDER WAS A TOTAL IDIOT THE SALESMAN WAS INCOMPETENT AND I HAVE HAD TO PAY OUT AGAIN FOR THE JOB TO BE REFITTED. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHY WICKES GET AWAY WITH GIVING SO CALLED LIST OF APPROVED FITTERS WORK WHEN THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW IF THEY ARE QUALIFIED? I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT AS I AM ONLY INSENCED. I WISH TO SAY TO EVERYONE CONSIDERING BUYING ONE OF THESE PRODUCTS TO CONSIDER HOW MUCH COMMISSION THE LITTLE SALESMAN IN THE STORE GETS AND WHY HE PROMISES YOU NO PROBLEMS WITH THE ERECTION OF YOUR CONSERVATORY. I WAS TOLD OVER THE PHONE THE BUILDERS NAME AS I WAS ACTUALLY CANCELLING MY ORDER.( I DID NOT SIGN ANY FORM NOR DID I SEE A LIST I WAS GIVEN ONE NAME)
I WAS TOLD THAT THE BUILDERS DO NOT GET ON THE LIST UNLESS THEY HAVE DONE SEVERAL BEFORE AND HAVE HAD GOOD REPORTS ABOUT WORK THEY HAD DONE. IT TURNED OUT MY FITTER WAS HAD BEEN BANKRUPT, AND IF YOU COULD ONLY SEE THE GLOWING REPORT I HAD FROM A DETECTIVE AGENCY ON HIM YOU WOULD BE ASTOUNDED. THIS ISSUE ASIDE I WAS PROMISED NEW PARTS FROM WICKS THAT TOOK NEARLY A YEAR TO ORDER AND ARRIVE, I AM SURE I HAVE BEEN ON THE BRINK OF A BREAKDOWN AS FOR THE LAST 14 MONTHS ALL IVE HAD TO LOOK AT IS TWO MONSTROSITIES ADJOINING MY HOUSE THAT WERE NOT FIT TO PUT A DOG IN , EVEN A LAWNMOWER WOULD HAVE RUSTED OUT. I HAD THIS WONDERFUL NOTION THAT WHEN WE HAD OUR CONSERVATORIES WE WOULD SIT FOR HOURS OVERLOOKING THE GARDEN, NOT A HOPE IN HELL I WAS TOO AFRAID TO GO IN THE GARDEN INCASE THE WHOLE THING CONSERTINERED AND KILLED ME. THESE TELEPHONE OPERATORS SHAME ON YOU FOR THE WAY YOU SPEAK TO ME, FOR THE WAY YOU TAKE OTHER PEOPLES HEARTACHE AND TURN IT INTO SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT MATTER. IT DOES NOT MATTER TO YOU THOUGH DOES IT ? YOU HAVE NOT FORKED OUT HARD EARNED MONEY. IVE BEEN PASSED DAY IN DAY OUT OVER THE PHONE TO HEAD OFFICE , BACK TO DELIVERY CENTER BACK TO HEAD OFFICE AND I WILL SAY MAYBE TWO KIND HEARTED CARING PEOPLE I HAVE SPOKEN TO OUT OF TWENTY OR THIRTY WHO HAVE LISTENED AND UNDERSTOOD. I HAVE SENT PHOTOGRAPHS, I HAVE SENT REPORTS ON THE STATE OF THE WORK DONE AND I HAVE EXPLAINED TILL I AM BLUE IN THE FACE, BUT ITS JUST ALL ABOUT MONEY AT THE END OF THE DAY WICKS TAKE IT AND MR BIRD HIDES BEHIND HIS TELEPHONE STAFF BECAUSE HE JUST CANNOT ANSWER MY COMMENTS. HE WROTE TO ME IN dECEMBER 2004 SAYING HE WAS PUTTING MY CASE IN THE HANDS OF HIS REGIONAL CONTROLLER ; WHERE IS HE ? I THINK HE MUST HAVE COMPLETELY LOST CONTROL AS I HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD FROM HIM. I AM NOT UPSET ANYMORE I AM ANGRY AND FEEL MR BIRD SHOULD GET OFF HIS BACKSIDE AND DEAL WITH THE PEOPLE THAT MATTER MOST : THE CUSTOMERS! WHAT DOES IT COST FOR SINCERITY, I RECIEVED A LETTER THE OTHER DAY FROM MRS HARVEY CUSTOMER SERVICES, THE FIRST PARAGRAPH SHE WAS FULL OF APOLOGIES, THE NEXT BIT SHE HAD A WHOLE LOAD OF INFORMATION I THINK SHE HAD DREAMT THEN LASTLY SHE GAVE ME AN ULTIMATUM , NICE BIT OF CUSTOMER SERVICING MRS HARVEY WHO EVER YOU ARE, YOU JUST GOT MY BACK UP. I WROTE MY LETTERS IN IDIOT FORM SO YOU COULD TAKE ALL THE FACTS IN - FACTS MY DEAR BASED ON WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME , I THEREFORE EXPECT YOU TO READ THEM .

ActionI AM PREPARED TO FIRSTLY GO TO THE PRESS , I HAVE LOTS OF ITERESTING READING AND A MULTITUDE OF LETTERS TO GET THE BALL ROLLING THEN I WILL TAKE THEM TO COURT.
