This company has gone out its way to not settle what it owes. Their policyholder hit my truck and did a lot of damage. The police report places 100% of the blame on the policyholder. They repaired the truck but do not want to pay for the diminished value, of which I am due. They made several very low offers. My wife had to get very cross with the claims manager, Marty Angel, just to get them to have their own appraisal. Prior to this, none of their offers were based on any facts. Of course, the appraisers, Cato Appraisal Services, are on the company payroll and returned a low estimate. My appraiser was independent and great deal more fair. I went to several dealerships and was told the independent appraisal was accurate. I offered to split the difference between the two appraisals and settle the matter. This is a common means used by reputable companies and, most often, by the courts. However, Cotton States Insurance has refused to do this. When I offered this common compromise, they refused. Now I have a truck that no one wants to buy because they used parts from other junked or wrecked vehicles, and the company wants me to accept far less than what I am owed for the diminished value. MY WIFE AND I WILL NEVER TAKE A POLICY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY DO NOT NEGOTIATE IN GOOD FAITH AND ARE UNREASONABLE!!! 

Solution of your complaintThey should split the difference between the two appraisals, as any REPUTABLE company would do. I am still loosing money, even in this situation.
