Vide Invoice no.6658 dtd.23.03.2007, I purchased one Nokia -5300 (Xpress Music). Within 15 days of purchase, it developed problem in the ringer (No Ring/Music tone). When approached to M/s.Shanti Tele-soloution, the nokia care centre at Siliguri, West Bengal they expressed inability to rectify the problem at Siliguri and wished to sent to L3 repair centre at Kolkata. While taking the phone set for repair, they returned the SIM card and the battery under job sheet no.216343506/070409/30 dtd.09.04.2007. Although scheduled delivery was 25.04.2007, they finally returned the set on 30.04.2007

After I got back home, I wanted to load the music files in the phone, and message came that `FILE NOT FOUND. On checking with the abve care centre at Siliguri, they informed that the memory attachment (Micro SD card) for the music is missing from the phone. I was shocked with such feedback.

Kindly note that while taking a new set for repair, it is the responsibilty of the nokia person, to take out all the accessories, if the same is not safe to forward to repair centre. When taken up with the care centre, they expressed inabilty to rectify their mistake.

Sir, I would plead that, at first I ca not expect a brand new set to develop problem within 15 days of purchase and the mobile was purchased for monitoring sales and supplies of essential commodity like petrol, diesel etc. The irresponsibilyt shown by the care centre is not at all acceptable. I requst you to take note of latest directive of TRAI and enable me to avoid escalating the matter further.
