we moved from florida in FEb. 06 and contacted Dish network to disconnect the service. We paid the Feb. bill. They told us fine, they would disconnect us and for us to contact them when we got to our new destination. I had no reason to do so, because I wasnt going to use them again. On Dec. 2006 I received a last notice from them for service through Jan. 2007 and demanding that I pay the amount they said was due. I e-mailed them, wrote to them and never heard back. Now I am getting letters from CBE Group Inc a collection agency. I called them and told them there was nothing to collect, and they said, well Dish Network has to tell us that you dont owe anything. I said well just send me another notice and I will charge you with violations of the Fair Debt Collection Act. She told me to have a nice day. I should not have to put up with this garbage. Now I have to contact Dish Network again and waste my time with this. Thanks for letting me vent.  

Solution of your complaintDont know, but with the past history of this company, they will just send the account to another collection agency. 
ActionI will notify the FCC and others regarding this violation.
