Dear sir,
My family (Wife, son and mother, a senior citizen) was boarded in Faluknuma Express (2703) at Howrah Stn. on 2nd June’07 for onward journey to Sec’bad stn. with E-ticket bearing PNR No.6302471554 , Transaction ID:0016185874 and booking date: 04.03.07. The ticket was originally booked for four persons that include me along with my family members. My Photo Identity card(driving license) is marked for display. Due to emergency official work I had to come back early to Hyderabad without accompanying them on that day. In turn they have been provided with Xerox copy of photo identity card and also my passport and their individual photo identity card as supportive documents.
But on journey date, inside AS1 compartment, the TTE , Mr. B K Roy was demanding only original Photo identity card and not in a mood to see the xerox copy of the same along with other identity documents. Even My wife have offered to show the original Photo identity card at Sec’bad station. But he was not bothered to listen to their appeal. Instead he was started harassment, humiliation in full glare of other co-passengers and even threatened to throw them out of compartment physically at Khurda Road if they don’t get down at Kharagpur station. Immediately, he allotted my berth to other passenger possibly after taking bribe. They had been subjected to mental torture throughout their journey upto Vizag . Unable to bear the mental torture anymore and imminent forcible removal from compartment at night, they have paid Rs5925/- vide receipt no.29500 dated 02.06.07 towards full fare and penalty at Vizag station. So they have been allowed to continue their journey to Sec,bad.
Nevertheless, it has been mentioned nowhere in the e-ticket that Xerox copy of Photo identity is invalid.
Here, my question is where we have done fraud that my family have been subjected to mental torture to unbearable level? I have paid in full(Rs.4505/-) while booking the ticket on 04.03.07 from my hard earned money. So why they have been treated as ticket less passengers in spite of having valid ticket and photo identity and forced them to shell out extra full fare and penalty? In what authority the railway can charge us double fare and penalty for single journey in high handed manner? Is railway has not received my fare for e-ticket ? How railway, being a government organization can justify to loot Aam admi like me? Is this because railway is too powerful to get away with any wrong doing?

Solution of your complaintI demand to refund me the excess single fare and penalty charged to my family immediately. I also want railway to punish the TTE,Shri BK Roy for misbehaving with a lady that is unbecoming of his duty. 
ActionI may be lodging the complaint with consumer court to get refund of excess fare and penalty and suitable compensation from Indian Railways for subjecting my family to mental torture.
