The refrigerator was visited by Nikai service subcontractor, APRIL A/C & REFRIGERATION SERVICES, last (11-June-2007). They opened it up, checked it and told me that it is done. They told me to observe and see if it will perform properly and that they will be coming back the following day after 7pm if there are any problems, to pick-up the unit and repair it at their shop. Unfortunately, the problem was not rectified and nobody called me up from their side to confirm the pick-up. I called them up in the afternoon and they said they are very busy and that they will try to pick it up later that day. They did not come nor did they call. Again, yesterday (13-June-2007) I called them in the afternoon since nobody called me again. They promised to pick the fridge up after 7pm and that they will call me when they are nearby. I waited, nobody called. So I called them up again and told me that they will be coming a little later because they are still busy and that they will call me again when they are nearby. 10pm came and still nobody called me. So, I followed up again and they said that they cannot come!!! The man named P. Subhash Chandran (050-5999104) of APRIL, who I was coordinating with since then, was very rude when I called him and he was telling me that I am not their only customer and that I have no other option but to wait until they have the time to service my unit. He even told me that if I want to have my fridge serviced, then I would have to leave it outside my house at 6am in the morning and they will pick it up after 8am. I do not belive that this is the right way to address customer issues. I told them that I will file a complaint with Nikai. He was not even bothered.
I have been without a fridge for 5 days now since I first sent a complaint. It is summer time and I cannot afford not having a fridge at home. Nothing has been done to this time
