A Nokia handset under warranty was deposited for repair (poor incoming audio quality) with Nokia service center located at G-26, Lower Ground Floor, South Extension, Part I, New Delhi – 49 on 16th June 07. A target date of 23rd June 07 was indicated for delivery.
On 23rd June the Centre, on a telephonic enquiry, advised me to collect the repaired handset. However, on reaching the zCentre I was told that it was yet to come from head office. Similar process got repeated on 27th June 07. Three more visits have been made to the Centre but without fruitful results.
On 7th July a complaint against the Centre was lodged with Nokia Careline at 011-30303838 vide complaint no 2-25WWYB. On 10th July Nokia Careline also advised me to collect the repaired handset from the Centre. A telephonic message was received from Ms Rashmi from the Centre on 11th July to collect the handset. However, my daughter, on reaching the Centre was made to wait for 45 minutes again with the stock reply by the Manager, Mr Rishi, that the handset was yet to arrive. What more, the Manager also misplaced the original job sheet while trying to locate the handset (please find attached the duplicate job sheet).
Several visits to the Centre by us have left us exhausted and exploited.
