I have been assured a free SBI credit card without any annual charges. But to my regret, I found out later that reality differs entirely from promises. I have been given a health insurance without asking me and without my approval. I recieved a health insurance first. I was surprised and tried to figure out who have sent the insurance. Later after about a month I received a SBI Credit card statment where they charged me Rs. 6000 for Royal SUndaram Health insurance. When I requested to cancel it, customer care executive told I have to pay 2000 as I am already late to inform. I have been told to contact Royal Sundaram while I am cusomer of SBI not Royal Sundarm. Now I have fined 1000 more as delay charges. I haven;t swiped the card for single time.
Please suggest me how to get out of it. I dont want to let go my hard earned money.

IS it fine if I break the card and drop it in the SBI drop box with the written application?
