I am having Videocon washing machine model No:811. Last year in July, the same was not working and I have informed your service centre at Trivandrum.One mechanic came and checked and informed me that the MECHANISM is having complaint. So it needs replacement as the same is concealed and repair can be done. The body of the machine was damaged and needed replacement. I had agreed with that gentleman and he had taken the machine for replacement of defective parts and brought back on 31-7-04. I have paid Rs 5540/- vide their bill No:1084 and he had informed me that ONE YEAR GAURANTEE is there for the replaced items. Again on 27-6-05 the machine was out of order. As usual I had informed the service centre. They had given me the complaint No: 15187. On 29th one mechanic came and checked the machine and informed me that the board and valve are defective and both the items needs replacement. I had told him the board has to be replaced by the company as the warranty period is not over. He has told me the board is old one and that has to be replaced last time. As per my knowledge board and mechanism are the same. But he has taught me that mechanism means bearings and other items. I have telephoned so many times to the service station and the same answer was given from there also. I request you to inform the service station to replace the mechanism under warranty period. I am prepared to pay for the valve. Hope you will do the needful and inform me at the earliest.

Solution of your complaint
I want the washing machine to be fixed as it is within the warranty period and I want them to apologise for the delay.
I will approach Consumer forums and leading newspapers to highlight the service issues Customers face. If required I will also take the matter to court.
