My Motor vehicle(Bajaj Avenger purchased on 14 November 2006) met with an accident on 25/6/2007 with a lorry (the lorry driver found to have consumed liquor) and since there is no Traffic Police available in the spot, no FIR was been registered.
The vehicle was been take to Dealer (Jai Bajaj – No.11, 1st Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Adyar, Chennai 20, Ph – 044-64542255, and this is the only dealer in Chennai who has the selling and service facility for Bajaj Avenger Motor Bikes), This bike was been insured with ICICI Lombard – Policy No. 3005/50691407/00/000 )and the intimation of the accident been informed to them immediately. As said by the insurance persons they surveyed the vehicle on the next day and had agreed to replace the Petrol Tank of the damaged vehicle with a new one.
But for the past one-week the dealers have kept the vehicle idle and upon enquiry they say that they have made their purchase invoice for a new petrol tank from their Head Office in Pune.
Still the vehicle is with the dealer and I don’t know when they will replace the new petrol tank. The statements made by the service persons are very arrogant.
Awaiting a fruitful solution.
|Solution of your complaint||They can replace the Petrol Tank with the the new vehicle which are there in the Showroom, Later on when they receive the new tank from their HEad Office in Pune they can use that on the vehicle from which it was been taken. This will reduce my waiting time and my problem can be solved |
