This is to inform you that I Latif Ahmed Ratta, bought a sony phone from your showroom at HI-Line C.P, M-5, Connaught Place, (Opposite British Motors), New Delhi, vide invoice number 1054 on 31st July, 2007. IMEI of the phone is 351674019228375.
Please note that the phone was faulty thereby giving the signals of hanging since the very first day. I made the complaint on the next day regarding this and was told to use the set for few days as they said that it happens sometimes in th new sets. The name of the person was Mr. Nitin, Mobile no. 9810404111.
Then this problem still persisted and at last the phone stoped working on 04th Aug,2007 that is the 4th day of the purchase. Since it was late in night on saturday and the showroom was closed on sunday, I deposited the phone back in the showroom on 6th August, 2007. Since then I have been calling and meeting Mr. Nitin atleast 3 times a day, but all in vein.Every time he is saying today evening we will replace it. The worst thing happened when Mr. Nitin abused me on 10th August, 2007 and said that the phone is in the company and we cannot do anything.
Please let me know that when I have paid full amount and the set is faulty then why have my set been not changed? I am such an old customer of Airtel and is this the way you people behave with your clients? With so many competitive players in the market how can a company like airtel afford to act such irresponsibly towards their clients?
Please note that I have also recorded all the conversations with your staff and have all the correspondence with me. I am really frustrated with this and facing a big business loss in the absence of my phone. I would love to settle the issue as soon as possible or else it leaves me no choice except to go to teh consumer court with all the details and claim the losses & mental harrasment faced by me.
