Iam a regular customer or, so say, a fan of Maruti for the past 10 years.i bought Maruti Esteem when it was first time launched in India. Then i bought Maruti 800 and 2 Maruti Esteems. The car is exceelent, there is no doubt in that but iam very sorry to say that the service is not up to that mark as expected. I would be highly obliged if you kindly read the harrassment which i went through.

Around 3 months back i had some problem in the steering of the car. The servicing of the car is still in warranty period and still the problem persists and no one is able to solve this.

I bought this car from STAN AUTOS, Ludhiana. So, i had gone there for servicing. Initially they were not able to detect the fault, and when they were able to do it, they proposed that they are going to order the part which was supposed to come in 1 day, so my car was with the service center for about 2 days. Then they asked for 1 day more, and i had no problems in that so i waited for 1 day more. When i went to the service centre next morning, they had all kinds of excuses and asked me to come next week.

Then i got somewhat busy and after 2 months when i went there again (as then i was planning to take the car on a highway) they repeated the same story, all over. As in, the car was with them for 2 days but this time they said, the problem is solved. but, unfortunetely the problem still persists and they are also aware of that. Now, they dont even pick up our phone calls and it is pretty obvious that are not interested in entertaining the problem.

I would also like to say that the service center of the company is unproffesional,unehical and does not listen to the customer or solve the problem.

Sir, its been 3 months that the service centre personnel are not able to solve the problem, and just postponing it all the time, and that is the reason why iam forced to write here. Iam driving the same car, though i know it is risky but i have no other option.

I would also like to mention the name of manager with whom we are dealing- Mr. Rajkumar(at STAN AUTOS).

For your information, i would like to inform you that the car is still in warranty period.

I would be highly obliged if you can solve my problem, otherwise the next step which i would have to take is to go to consumer forum which i would avoid if my problem is solved.
