I visited the Reliance Webworld at DP Road Aundh Pune in July 2007and an employee gave me a card of the person who would get me the internet connection which was given to him by the person. The card had his name called Mahesh Rajmane under Reliance Telecommunications .( I took the name and details and returned the card). I phoned the person who came promptly and gave me all the pros of the Reliance Netconnect .
On July 17, I paid him cash Rs 4000/- because he said that the connection would take longer if we gave a cheque. He issued me a receipt under Reliance Communications.
He got the instrument on July 19 and told me that by July 20 , I should get connected. Sadly i could not get the connection so i contacted him and he came on july 20 and took my laptop accompanied by my husband to some office in Aundh and somebody else there tried and said that the drivers for the modem needed to be installed as my operating system was Windows Vista.
After this I did not hear from him till july 23 when I threatened to return the modem as I was without a connection since the 19th. He then brought a friend ( there was no techician from Reliance Co) who installed the CD for me and the connection started but there was no explanation about anything whatsoever and I had to figure out everything as they told me the helpline will tell you everything and the helpine could not get connected.
Subsequently I got in touch with the helpdesk and have been registering complaints with their helpline as my internet pages do not load several times and I am wasting time looking at a blank screen.
After I went online I discovered that the price of the modem wasactually Rs 2850 and on inquiry at the helpdesk - customer care, they confirmed that the prices had gone down on 9th July (modem sold to me on 17th july)
I tried to call the said person Mahesh several times and he told me flatly that I would not get the refund , after I started calling him repeatedly he promised to refund me the Rs 1150 by the 7th or 8th of August , but he has subsequently stopped taking my calls.
I went to the Reliance webworld at Aundh and they say they have nothing to do with internet services and are not ready to give me the address or phone of the local offices in Pune.
The latest complaint I have filed with the Helpdesk is on 13th of August expressing my displeasure over the performance of the internet and their employee cheating me by selling the modem to me for Rs 4000 instead of Rs 2850. A lady called Deepa took my complaint but again said that they could not refund the Rs 1150. She informed me that they would get back within 48hrs on 13th Aug , but I am still waiting after calling and reminding them twice.
I have given them all the details and phone of the concerned employee but they refuse to get back and refuse to give me my refund.
meanwhile they have sent me an sms saying that my monthly bill is sent by post and I have to pay it by 1st september.
what I want
1) Give me full refund of Rs 4000/ and take back the modem (as I am not happy with the services)
2) or atleast give my refund of Rs 1150
