I have a strong complaint regarding address verification for my new airtel no. 9871166256., while taking this connection I have given passport xerox as my address proof. But since I have taken this connection my number is de-activated multiple times and SIM card is blocked since 18th August 2007. Apart from calling multiple times on costumer care I have been told that my address verification is not positive.

Here I have some points to elaborate:

1. Executive met my mother on my address near about 2nd week of august then how address verification can be reported to negative.
2. How an address which is already verified by Passport authority can not be verified by Airtel people.
3. When I received a call from number:09971224234 from verification person name Arun date 18th August time 1.00PM and he told me he will reach to me within half an hour, no person turned up and reported negative verification resulted in my SIM blockage same evening.

Today on dated 22nd August I visited in Airtel office Noida sector 12 and given my office address proof I have been told by the executive that he is not sure of if verification will be done again or not and asked me no contact at 121 for further information.


Solution of your complaintHere I request you to tell me what step I should take further to get my number activated. did I commeted some mistake by taking a airtel connection? Also tell me if I need to pay rental for this duration and how the sufferings I had will be recovered????? also please suggest me if I need to escalate this issue any of the higher people in Airtel for their notice.  
ActionI will defiantly bring the episode to honorable consumer court.................Delhi
