On 19.08.07 we booked a Budget 78*60*4 Mattress with Ideal Mattress and the dealer accepted to deliver the same on 20.08.07 without any delivery charges. We paid Rs. 500 as advance payment and the manager suggested us to pay the rest of the amount by cheque on delivery of the mattress.
On 20.08.07, owner of the shop called up and spoke very roughly with me. First, he refused not to deliver at home, then he asked for Rs.150 as delivery charges which i refused to pay as his manager has agreed to deliver without any cost. Then, he refused to take payment by cheque and abruptly cut the phone.
I was shocked by his behaviour. I am surprised how can Kurlon afford to have such irresponsible dealer in its network who can agonise the customer in such a manner.
We also wrote to some senior management from Kurlon but they displayed the same attitude and after so many days also nothing has happened on this issue. We are shocked by such a bad attitude and wonder how such a company can continue to run its business.
Hope someone would look into this matter so that in future customers like me do not get harassed by such dealers.
