The Refrigerator was serviced during guarantee & the timer was adjusted as there was too much ice in the Freezer and the lower compartment was not cooling. 4 months after guarantee I was told the Timer required replacement. 4.1.2005 Timer was changed. Again on 28.6.07 the same problem recurred. I spoke to the Company, they sent a technician from the Service Centre. He said the thermostat switch required replacement. He charged me Rs.660/-for the switch + Rs.275/- service charges. The problem recurred within 24 hours. Again I spoke to the Company Customer Support Engineer, Mr.Sankar Banerjee. He sent a technician who poured water into the Fridge to melt the ice in the Freezer. The problem recurred within 48 hours. When I complained again to Mr.Banerjee, he sent Mr.Tapan Kundu, a technician from the Service Centre. He said the Timer was defective. He changed the Timer. I refused to pay. On 28th August 07 the problem has recurred. At the time of service I was told the service guarantee is for 3 months. But service centre Manager, Arun Dutta, abused me in the most horrific manner & no one attended my call although I was allotted a Complaint No.6444 on 28.8.07.
