Complaint Details

On 9th August 2007, I had applied for Home Loan at Spot Approval counter put up at AHURA Branch. I submitted following Documents to HDFC executive Mr. Manoj Dubey for the same.
1) FORM16 / PAN Card
2) 6 Months Bank Statement (Salary Account)
3) 3 Months Salary Slip
4) Address Proof (Passport)
5) Age Proof (Passport)
6) ID Proof (Passport)
7) Confirmation Letter of the current Employer.

Mr. Manoj (Bank Executive) forwarded the same to Ms. Rupa (Branch Manager) for the perusal and I got the Spot Approval for Home Loan of Rs. 11 Lakhs @ 11% p.a. signed by Ms. Rupa. I was informed that I would be getting the Sanction letter within 4-5 Working Days.

Meanwhile on 13th August 2007 I submitted the property documents to Mr. Manoj Dubey for verification of the property which I was planning to buy. Then on 17th August 2007, I was informed that my case was not doable due to poor savings trend and I need to furnish OCR proof. I deposited the money in installments into my bank account which was required for OCR and informed Mr. Manoj Dubey on 27th August 2007 to check the same in my account. During the conversation with Mr. Dubey I was informed that now it is possible to get the sanction letter. At the same time I enquired about the status of my sanction letter on which I came to know that it is kept pending due to technical of the property, on which I informed him that I would look out for another property if the technical report of building is not approved by HDFC and I was informed that I would get response in the evening-same day.

Since that day I had called up number of times for follow-up and have spoken to Ms. Rachna, Mr. Dubey and Mr. Abhay. Today Mr. Abhay informed me that my sanction letter is held up by Mr.Wishvanath (Credit Manager) due to negative technical report of the building. On enquiring about the status how soon I can get the sanction letter, he asked me to email Mr.Wishvanath (Credit Manger HDFC) stating that I am ready to go for another property which will be technically and legally approved by HDFC. He promised me that I will get reply that day, but till date there is no response.

I hope from the above statements you might have understood my problem.

If you have queries please feel free to contact me at my brother’s mobile 9867646810 or at my office – 28259236 Ext 825.

They gave me number of reasons which are not strong enough to reject my approval. They could only reject my approval if any of the documents which they had seen while giving me spot approval becomes forged or if I have made any changes in that.

Awaiting to get your response soon.

Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
