I had purchased my Bajaj Saffire in July 2002 in Pune and it was running quite ok.
I relocated to Kolkata in January 2007. However when it broke down recently in Kolkata and the ROLTA BAJAJ service centre in Kolkata (Near VIP Road)informed me that there are no spare parts available for the bike and they are no longer supplied by the company.
I checked with all the other service centres and got the same answer. I am having to junk my bike and buy a new one - this after just 4 yrs after buying the bike. They said that no spare parts has been available for Bajaj Saffire for the last 2 years.
1. Please advice if I should junk my scooter after just 4 years - just because spare parts are not being supplied for Bajaj Saffire?
2. This makes me wonder if I should buy the new scooter from Bajaj or not?
3. If junking is the only option - will Bajaj buy the scooter back from me?

|Action||Throw away this bike and never buy a BAJAJ bike again. And probably bad mouth BAJAJ to all my colleages and friends. |
