Dear Sir,

I was facing hot starting problem with my car, which was taken to Tata servics center, i.e. Wasan motors at Govandi, Mumbai, on 6/6/07. The car was given back to me next day after changing its starter armature & solenoid (Rs. 3000/-). However, within two months time the problem reappeared. This time thinking that the battery must have gone (being about 3.5 yrs old), I changed the battery & replaced it with Tata make new battery. But the problem remained the same. I immediately called up the service center & lodged my complaint on 18/8/07 &I took my car there on 21/08/07. Till date, i.e. 06/09/07, the car is in the workshop and I am told that they have been trying but the problem is not getting rectified. Now I am told that the diesel pump of the car might be creating problem and needs to be serviced for which the service advisor has given an estimated cost of Rs. 5000/-. I do not understand that when they earlier charged me for the same problem how can they charge again. And also if the problem was with pump, then the earlier replacement of starter parts was not necessary.
I am not only suffering because my car is lying in the workshop for more than 15 days without getting repaired but also I have to cough up a few thousands more.

I request you to kindly take up the matter with the concerned authorities.

Solution of your complaintTata motors head office technical staff should guide the workshop people.  
ActionThey should not charge me for the same complaint. I would take up this matter to higher authorities in tata motors.
