The order number 3622548 has been registered successfully on 1st Jan 2007 and the product was despatched with in 2 days. The product had no resembleness with the photo they had advertised.More over it was a china made duplicate product of the SONY and had lot of issues like "While trying to play a movie/picture viewer" it was displaying error as "Format Error".I made complaint to the company who sent the product to me. His address as Shiv Gaurav,5-1-750/7 haridas market ,Bank street, koti,Hyderabad -500195 Ph: 9866500159 / 040-30281688/ 30281699. When contacted he asked me to send back the product and he told he can send another piece. I paid courrier charge and sent , he sent back me another piece whih was having the same issue.(Rediff#006-402-187 is the complaint no).I had been communicating with a customer executive named as Nancy vaz and she agreed me that since the dealer dont have a errorless piece , rediff will give back the money spent in the form of Gift voucher as per the rediff policy.As agreed she gave me the online voucher (OR139-0001-2385-5415)and guided me to use the gift voucher saying I need to use the voucher for atleast one time and the remaining amount can be given to the credit card I used for purchase / thru cheque. I purchased another product only to use the gift voucher and the order number was 3826281 (Mobile Antenna Booster + Car Charger + Boom Headset for Nokia) .The Boom headset was not in working condition but I did not complain because I didnt want to waste my time and courrier charge again. I informed rediff that I used some part of gift voucher and requested to pay out the balance thru credit card reversal or send a cheque. They did not reply for this and I was busy with my work. I contacted again 3 weeks before and they responded to the query saying "there was a validity period for voucher which exceeded , also there are no provision of pay back as cheque or credit card reversal. I have all mails with me to show that they clearly guaranteed that part payment was valid after I use the gift voucher . I can share entire proof with you as chain emails .
|Solution of your complaint||I need to get back the money rediff.com owe to me including the courrier charges and shipping charges of Rs 2899.00 (MP4 Player) + 300 (Shipping) + 80 ( 2 times Courrier to hyderabad) minus 349 (for the second order - mobile antena etc) = 2930
I am expecting 2930 + interest + 1000 Rs as compensation.
|Action||I will register a complaint in consumer court , even if it is not sorted I will start email campaigning , and any level of court (money is not a matter for me because people should understand the real story) |
