09/09/2007 UL146 Flight from Mumbai to Colombo : I had checked in one bag with Sri Lankan Airlines (Tag No UL641649) but I did not receive the bag at Colombo (despite the fact that it was direct flight from Mumbai to Colombo). I filed the complaint with the baggage service department and I was assured that the bag must be in Mumbai and would be made available in the hotel in Colombo next day.

10/09/2007 : I made several phone calls during the day but they all said that search is still on. Lastly lady mentioned that there were some bags without tags there at Colombo and asked me to come early in the morning next day , as I had return flight to Mumbai @ 12:00 Noon

11/09/2007 Colombo Airport : Could not find my bag in the lots that were shown to me. So I asked them what would be the next step. They suggested me to get in touch with their Mumbai staff as they might have better information, and asked me to file complain again with them.

As soon as I reached Mumbai I noticed the Airline staff who was present when I was checking in on 09/09/2007 and explained him my problems. He told me that he will have to check the bag reconciliation report and asked me to give call around 04:00 PM. On my way to home town Indore from Mumbai, I made several phone calls on the numbers he gave (022-26828965,022-26828051) but no one is responding to the phone since then.
 

Solution of your complaintMy bag to delivered at my home address ASAP else compensate me for the loss of baggage and time.
