I booked a flight trip on yatra.com for my family on 20th August 2007
Date of journey: 28/12/2007.
I accidently booked the trip from Goa-Bangalore instead of Bangalore-Goa.
As a result, I called up Yatra immediately on the same day, 20th August, 2007 and spoke to the agent Shashank. I canceled the tickets and booked another for Bangalore-Goa.
On inquiring, I was informed that amount would be refunded to my credit card in 7-10 days.
On 13th September, I checked my credit card statement for the refund and was shocked to not find any refund. I promptly called up Yatra and to my horror, I was informed by the agent Vidya, that I have not placed any cancellation request.
On speaking with the supervisor, he insisted that I have not canceled the tickets and that I need to place a fresh request to cancel the tickets and that my refund would be made in 3-4 days time.
I do not have that much time as my credit card payment is due and Yatra is not accepting their mistake and challenged me to file a complaint.
I have been harassed to the bone by Yatra and am on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
