My complaint is regarding the Full & Final Statement for Airtel Landline (42143876). Despite all my follow-ups over phone and mails since 18th Feb07, I have not received F&F statement or amount. Rather, I got a call from Sonali, from number 92121 52328 that she is calling from Tis Hazari court and I need to pay Rs. 2800/-. This is despite the fact that am in constant touch with Airtel people and have been requesting them time and again to settle this amount. (FYI: there has been not even a single default in my payments ever and am still holding Airtel mobile and landline numbers with no default in payments ever)

Could you please respond to my mails. I am really tired to do all these follow ups.

Moreover, despite our communication over phone and mails, I am again getting calls from someone called Sonali from number as 92121 52328, telling that she is calling from Tis Hazari court and it refers to File no. D-128. Could you please check on this.

What does this mean???? There has been NO coordination between Airtel departments and you may not have communicated the same, that this is being looked after you. After providing all the modems and other things to your person last month, am still awaiting the FULL & FINAL Settlement statement from your end. Am not getting this and rather the delay has been made from your side everytime. Despite all my calls, mails and follow-ups to date, I have not received any response from your end.

Could you please call me at 997133888 and discuss this. This is much harassing, to get such calls, for none of my fault.


Please provide me with your "Nodal Mail ID or your Grievance cell contact details". I would like to take this matter up and escalate, since nothing is happening for months now.

Hello Shikha,

Thanks for your kind mail and note below.

Early morning today some one from Airtel came and took the said
Airtel Modem, adapter and required cables on that. Thanks much.

With regards to the outstanding amount, I would like to DISAGREE with the
said amount. I made my first request to Airtel on 15th Feb 07, for
disconnection and it was mentioned that it would be disconnected in 48hrs
of time. I would understand the delay of 3 to 5 days in that, however would
not understand why should I be paying you the rentals for some thing that
is not my fault.

Why should I be panelised for the defaults from your end for not
disconnecting my phone # 42143876 within timelines. I can understand that I
will have to pay the rentals + usage bill for Feb07 i.e. till 22nd Feb 07,
if its the cycle. Why should I pay for the services or charges /rentals for
which I never asked for. Please see the details of all references made by
me to ensure this dis-connection by 15th Feb07. Post which it was all
follow ups (refer my mail below). Additionally, to my understanding Modem
was on rental/security basis and I remember that I had purchased the Phone
Instrument. I had paid a amount of Rs. 500/= towards modem. Now, if I have
returned the modem, to my understanding this amount of Rs. 500/- should be
deducted from the total Full and Final amount.

I disagree to this fact that due to delays from Airtel side, customer has
to bear for it. Please call me to discuss the same and lets close this
ASAP. I shall arrange to make the payment, which is due to me (deducting
the rentals for 23/2/2007 to 22/3/2007 (which I never used) & Modem
charges)

Solution of your complaintAirtel could have provided me the Full and Final settlement in the same month and we could have closed the matter in March 07 itself.  
ActionAm requesting your kind support, as am not too sure that should I do in this case.
