I lost my prepaid SIM card (9821538266) along with my cell.It was very important from me to get the new SIM card with the same number so approached the above mentioned BPL Gallery.
The Customer Serive Person told me that they require the FIR Copy (Missing complaint) if I need the SIM card with the same number.
He further said that theyll not ask for the FIR copy if get my Prepaid SIM card converted into Post Paid Card.
For getting the FIR copy the Policemen asked me to produce some identification from BPL Mobile whichll confim that the particular SIM No. belongs to me.
So I again went to the BPL Gallery to get some writing details to fulfil the above requirement.
The Customer Service straight away said they do not provide such details in writing.Instead he asked me to get my SIM card converted into Post Paid on for which the FIR Copy not required.
My complain is that why can not get the confirmation from BPL that the SIM belongs to me though they have my documents with them & records in their system.
Understand that theyll require FIR copy but why they insist to covert the SIM into post paid one for which thell not ask for FIR copy.

|Action||I will never use any BPL SIM in future also suggest others not to use BPL Service. |
