I would like to place a complaint again TATA Indicom Broadband Services. I took a TATA Indicom broadband prepaid connection in the month of March 2007 under plan Surf Power 6000 (2M). I paid around Rs.2,400 for the same , for a six month validity period. But ever since i have got the connection, there have been constant problems with the same. I cant connect for days together, and after numerous phone calls and days of waiting, I finally get my internet connectivity. This has happened more than 6-7 times in this 5 month period, especially last time in June when i didnt have connectivity for a period of almost 1.5 months till mid-July.
I tried asking for a refund, but the service provider says there is no refund policy, even though i have been harassed by their service (or the lack of it). Now all I am asking them for is an extension of my prepaid account validity for 1.5 months, because my connection was not available (ever since i got the internet connection, there have been problems with it) , but they are saying since the last complaint was lodged only on June 24th and processed and closed by July 2nd, they will extend the validity only for that period. This is ridiculous because I have not had connectivity for which i paid in advance, and to get an extension for the period when i did not have connectivity, i have to struggle so much. Please do help me lodge a complaint against TATA Indicom Broadband services in the consumer court.
