I, Carlton Vincent Dsouza, had booked the ticket through Air India Express on the 10/09/07 at 12.15p.m. on the net.

I had paid thru my citi bank master card a amount of Rs12,984.00.

I got a reference number before the payment which is RF01367538. The above amount is already taken through my credit card.

I called the contact centre who informed me that the systems are going through some up gradation due to which I cannot book my tickets.

Air India Replied:
Thank you for choosing to fly with Air India Express.
Please note that no PNR was found with the reference number details by you.

I Replied:

Hi,

The below mentioned amount was taken from my card this afternoon.

Citibank reference Application number : 036251
Merchant Code:44108044
Date: 10/09/2007.
Amt: 12,894.00

Please confirm whether you have received the amount. If not, I would then like to proceed to get a refund.

Air India Express replied:

Thank you for choosing to fly with Air India Express.

Please send us your passport number , travel date ,travel sector , reference number, transaction date and time, credit card details, name of the credit card holder ,amount debited, passengers names so that we can check from our record.

3) Reference NUmber: RF01367538 ( Number generated withouth booking)
4) Transaction date and time: 10/09/2007 AIR INDIA CHART( 12894.00

5) Credit Card Details: 5546 XXXXXX7017
6) Name of the Credit Card Holder: Carlton V Dsouza
7) Amount Debited: 12,894.00
8) Passenger Names: Carlton Dsouza, Jessy Carlton Dsouza and Nissy John
9) Travel Document Proof:s PAN: AEPPD9173G.

My citi bank gold card transaction reflects the amount. You can confirm the same with them.
 

Solution of your complaintI would like Air India Express the reverse the amount to my credit card. 
ActionI would approach the Consumer Court Tribunal and publish it the news and media.
