the vehicle was purchased from above named dealer and is being serviced by their authorised workshop every six months or 5000 km. It is single hand-driven and has done 29000 km.When given for latest service a few days after expiry of warranty, I am asked to pay Rs.18000/= as crankshaft needs to be replaced. please let me know whether : -(1) crankshaft is designed to last only for 3 years ? (2) If there were any signs of its premature distress, why I was never told within warranty period ? (3) whether it is manufacturing fault or authorised service centres^ ? I am sure with long driving experience i handled the vehicle with utmost care . At present there is no pick up with AC on, without AC very poor pick up and averages@ 8 to 9 km/litre.
