Dear sir(s),

With regards, I Harvinder Singh General Manager-Engineering, DSCL Sugar Rupapur-Hardoi would like to share the experiences faced with your dealer M/S Sumitra DS Motors PVT. Limited, Shahjahanpur on the first service of my SX-4 VXi purchased from your distributor KTL private Limited Lucknow.

The brief is as under:-

I reported at your dealerís workshop at 10.25am-dated 30.09.2007.

It is surprising for me that there was no person available to receive the car on welcome point. However, I personally asked to the workers that who is manager/supervisor to look after the services.

After meeting with person concerned my car was parked in the workshop and started shunting by the several workers, resulting the car was found very dirty within few minutes.

Unexpected delay of making job card, took 1.15 hours.

Engine oil of the car was drained out at 12.30pm.

From 1.00pm to 1.30pm was the lunchtime.

I return at 2.30pm to see the progress status and found that the car was on the washing ramp.

I asked the supervisor and he informed that all jobs are over.

Surprised to see the final bill that RF-7 oil treatment was charged while oil was drained out in my presence. I would like to know that by which process they applied RF-7 oil treatment (is it with the new oil? as I know, it must be poured with the existing oil & start engine for 5-10 minutes then drain out). Pl. tell us about your standard procedure if it is different with we mentioned above. Secondly ,is it recommended to apply RF-7 on the first service i.e. 900 km running only.

I along with my friend were roaming in the workshop then some body advised us to sit on the first floor in waiting room, which was already over crowded & no seat was available, keep standing about 15 minutes, the plastic chairs were arranged.

It was also surprising for me that there was no feed back form given to me for rating the performance and no gate pass was given to take out the car.



Note :
I feel, it is deliberately done because of a little reason as I would like share that before buying this car, I took the test drive on 17.08.07 at Sumitra DS Motors, Shahjanpur but the car was purchased from your other dealer i.e. KTL Lucknow on 19.08.07 because no SX-4 was available at Sumitra in ready stock.

If it is so then it is very unfair for me & I canít expect such a behavior from a repute company like you as I understand that Maruti is know for good services to customers.

Lastly, I expect that you will take a necessary action against the Sumitra DS Motors.
