This is regarding servicing my car KA-05-MC-9967 Tata Indica DLE, 2005 model, at Concorde motors Mysore road branch.
This car has been under regular service at Concorde Motors, Hosur Road. We left the car for 25,000kms service at Mysore Road Concorde. It is sad that downright cheating happens in this place. Even at the 20,000kms service Concorde motors, Hosur road wanted to perform decarbonizing and I reluctantly agreed after speaking to the service advisor. Now at 27,000kms service Concorde, Mysore road has repeated the decarbonizing! This was despite informing them that it was done at 20,000 kms service. They have gone on to change the engine oil and oil filter etc., despite it not being recommended by Tata Motors - it was not yet 6 months after the last service either. The overall bill for routine maintenance was 4800! This was for a car that was running fine. While I can understand that some parts needed changing, unnecessary, unrecommended service has been carried out resulting in such a large bill - this despite them not charging for the decarb after I made an issue of it. To correct rattles and some water leakage in a car under extended warranty, they have charged me close to Rs.800, this total amount having billed under 3 separate headings!
In addition my wife and I were made to wait for 11/2 hours to complete the formalities of billing - this resulting in my patients waiting for me at the clinic.
Very very sad state of affairs and honesty seems to be at a premium at this service site. It doesnt speak well of a company that prides itself on being honest and deliver goods that are value for money.
