I bought an Alto XFun LXI bearing the Engine No:F8DN4160029 on March 24,2007.
After about two month of purchase, when the monsoon started we have notced that water getting inside the car and gets logged in the rear side.On 8th May 2007 we brought this matter into the dealerís attention and it is been serviced at dealers workshop.The vehicle is already due for 2nd free service and on September 20th we have found the same problem (water getting inside) and taken to the same workshop. The workshop folks said, it is not serviceable by them and it is been taken to their head office workshop.The concern here is, neither Maruti nor the dealer is taking this matter into seriously. They are not giving any values to the customer. I have contacted the call center after 3 days of this call logged (till that nobody has contacted me), they asked me to contact the Maruti Regional office cochin. When I contacted the regional office Cochin on Wednesday 26th September at 1PM, I came to know from the receptionist/operator that there is nobody in the service section including the work manager, they are all went for outing in a houseboat from 8am to 8 PM. Then I contacted your Headoffice at Delhi, they instructed me to contact your Gurgaon office and talk with Mr. Hari Om (west region) or Mr. Gopalakrishan (south region). When I called there, Mr. Gopal Krishnan was on vacation and then I spoke with Mr. Hari Om. He talked to me nicely and taken all the information relating to the vehicle and the problem. He said you will get a call from regional office Cochin and will resolve this problem at the earliest. I waited for two days, but nobody has bothered to contact us.
I have paid 3.5 Lakh for this vehicle and I am not getting any proper support after sales. If I put a sales enquiry I get 100 phone calls from the dealer about the offers, but they are not bothered about the post sale support.

I strongly believe that, this vehicle is dispatched without having a good quality check to find out the manufacturing defect and now we are suffering after paying such amount.

Solution of your complaintwe should get a replacement of this faulty vechicle. since it is a new vechicle and it doesnt run more than 3000Km. 
ActionIncase this is not acceptable by you, and then I would like to proceed with consumer protection act, because we donít want to suffer any more and spoil our life just because of this problem. I want a permanent solution for this and close this issue once and fore all
