I had purchased a Tata Indica V2 Xeta from your dealer M/s AutolInk Enterprises 9I) Pvt. Ltd. from their 57 Adchini Sri Aurobindo Marg, new Delhi showroom. The registration number is DL 3CW 8977, chasis number is 600208GTZPB2508 & engine number is 475SI49GTZPA8581. The car was driven on petrol only for the first 1000km (as advised by the dealer). During this one thousand km period it was giving an average of 3km/liter. When I complained they said it will improve after first service.
It was than fitted with a CNG kit from M/s. Shrimankar Gas Car Services Pvt Ltd, Shrimankar House, E-44/15, Okhla Industrial Area Ph-II, New Delhi of Landi Renzo make on 23rd of September 2006. Prior to fitting of the CNG kit the vehicle used to give around 3-4km on every 1 (one) litre of petrol. After fitting of the CNG kit the milage on CNG became around 7-8km on every 1 (one) kg of CNG. But the performance on petrol remained the same. At the time of first service which was done on 17th of May 2007, the service workshop i.e. M/s Nawab Motors, Sector-11, Noida advised me to get the retro fitment of CNG kit done from M/s. Shrimankar Gas Car Services Pvt Ltd, Shrimankar House, E-44/15, Okhla Industrial Area Ph-II, New Delhi.
I was told that after getting the retro fitment done my milage problem will get sorted & indeed after getting the retro fitment done on 22nd of June 2007 the performance and milage of the vehicle became better. Now on CNG the vehicle gives around 9-10km on every 1 (one) kg of CNG. It costed me Rs. 6000/- (rupees six thousand). At the time of purchase the car the dealer had charged Rs. 40,000/- (rupees forty thousand) towards the cost of CNG kit. It will not be out of place to mention that this expance of Rs. 6000/- was not informed to me at the time of purchase of the vehicle.
The vehicle has run km. And average on petrol still remains 3-4 km/litre and on CNG around 9-10km on every 1 (one) kg of CNG. Now I am left with no alternative expect to take all remedial measures to redress my problem including filing as complain in consumer forum, if my complain is not attended to within 7 days of this complain my car is still under warrenty. Loss suffered on account of low milage and mental agony should also be compensated.
