Subject : “Malfunctioning of new Nokia CDMA 6265 phone”

Sir,
I have bought a nokia CDMA 6265 phone 11 months back (ESN/IMEI No. 02615627226 ; Job sheet No. 394434038/070922/22). The phone has developed problems with the display. The display is going blank. I have given the phone at the nokia service centre on 22 september 2007. A similar model bought by two of my friends has also developed problems. On looking up on the internet I have found similar complaints by other users. The problem is developing within a few months of buying a new handset. I have been told that the display of this model develops problems because of the sliding mechanism.
I have serious concern about whether this phone will function without any faults even after it is repaired/replaced by you since the problem seems to be inherent to the design of the phone. I will get the present problem rectified under warranty, but what about the future? Will the phone function properly afterwards? Has Nokia rectified the basic fault that seems to be developing in all the phones of this 6265 CDMA model?
This phone model is quite costly and if I will not be getting the worth of my money inspite of paying so much. I have reason enough to express my concerns. I have been a nokia phone user ever since I got my first mobile phone. I have been the owner of the nokia 3315. nokia 3610, nokia 2112 cdma phones at different times. I was happy with the functioning of the phones until I came across this problem. Furthermore I am now left without a mobile until the phone is repaired/replaced which seems to be taking a long time.

I request you to :
1. Give me sufficient warranty about the functioniong of the phone.
2. If the basic fault in this model is not rectified, please replace the phone with another phone model having similar features.
