Highland Holiday Homes is a company dealing in timeshare holidays. On invitation from them,I attended a lecture and they gave a promotional holiday voucher to me for which I would have to pay utility charges. I booked a room in their Lonavala Resort on paying Rs 1240/- Further, I booked an addtional room for my friend Mr Rajeev Ganeriwala for a sum of Rs 4000/-. We reached the resort on 2nd September at 1330 hrs. We checked into our rooms and went down for lunch. In the restaurant ,we ordered food and were kept waiting. Finally when the food arrived we found it was substandard and in very small quantities. On complaining, the captain started talking rudely and shouted at the ladies.We immediately got up and complained to the management.But they were unsympathetic and we chose to vacate the hotel. Their room bearer broke the handle of my Polo suitcase and the management did not even apologise.We left at 1430 hrs. Since then we have been asking the company for a refund of our money but have got no response. We have contacted them on phone and on their website but to no avail.
