Purchased a 2003 Lexus RX 300 from Pellini. Approx. 4-5 weeks after purchase car ran out of gas due to a damage sending unit in gas tank that still registered 1/4 tank. This is clearly damage that occured prior to purchase as nothing has been run over or thrown up into tank since purchase. Purchase admittingly was "as is" however it is painfully obvious it did not occur for the month or so we had the vehicle. Over two months have passed and I finally today hear that "they dont feel responsible for the covered repair" As i tried to explain our dilema with a beligerant Pete Pellini the discussion became heated and Pete hung up on me.
