It has been more than a few months since the ceiling in my bathroom was repaired and damaged the same week. Nothing has been done to fix this problem. The landlord has come to my apartment , has seen the damages and has done nothing to fix the situation. The ceiling in my bathroom has been leaking, it has peeling paint all over and black spots. I fear that the damages could get worse and the ceiling could collapse on my son"s head or mine.
I have brought this to the attention of the secretary of the building, given her my number so that the contracters could call me and make an appointment and to no avail. This has been an ongoing problem for nine years. They keep sending people with no experience to our apartments and all they do is shitty jobs.
|Solution of your complaint|| The landlord has to send reliable workers to the apartment and fix the problem immidiately. For the safety of the children living in the apartment and the other tenants. |
|Action|| I will call my section 8 worker to cancel payments on the rent. I myself pay 90% of my rent and will stop payment if the ceiling does not get fixed. I will hire someone efficient to do the work. If worse comes to worse I will go to court on this matter. |
