We bought a TATA SAFARI (vehicle No. UP80 AQ 8799) from a TATA Dealer in Agra (M/s Ashok Auto Sales Ltd) on 30.01.2006 and service is being done by Siya Ram Motors, Agra
Since the beginning we are facing the problem in the Engine Light. The Vehicle is under the warranty period till 29 Jan,09 or at 1,50,000 Kms. Later the warranty has been extended for 30 months more. Means still it is in warranty period.
The problem in the vehicle is a manufacturing defect, which is verified by the TATA engineers themselves. They are very well aware of the problem since beginning, which can be confirmed from their service job cards.
Since the beginning we are keep on requesting them to sort out our problem. They are keep on promising us to solve our problem as soon as possible, but still no proper action is taken by them. We approached them several times in several manners but no proper response given by them. Our complaint of Engine Light is mentioned in their all service Job Cards since purchase of vehicle.
Vehicle is still lying with the dealer Siya Ram Motors, Agra since 07 Aug 07. Now at present they are asking us to pay them the amount of approx 1.25 lacs as a repair charges in place of providing us a proper customer service. It is really hard to believe such a response from such a company.
