sir,
my cell no. is 09894175750 and my name is k.veerapandiyan. on 3-12-07 around 7 pm my phone message was"sim card registration failed". i switched on and off. but no use. i called back my no. from other phone to see the reply. to my astronishment i found ring was going and one person was talking to me. he told he in coimbatore.i asked him how he got the no. he told that he has lost his mobile a week ago and got the duplicate sim now only. his no. was 09894175050. he told that they have mistakenly done my no. and he told he will go to airtel office and surrender and get his no. i thought my no. will be activated again. but it did not happen. on 3rd night itself i lodged a complaint to customer care. the no is 320107111. he told to wait for 24 hrs. i called customer care and asked about the status of my complaint. they told that i have to buy a new sim and nothing can be done. again they told to go to airtel show room nearby and they will correct it. i went to them and they told to pay 150 rupees and give id proof. i was not willing and they also talked to customer care. but that person told the same. agin i called the customer care and they told they will make the arrangement within 48 hrs. i again talked to their senior officer and she promised that she will rectify my complaint within 24 hrs. the new complaint no was 1205035894. but it was not done. so i agained called for the senior officer. but i could not get and the customer care person told that they will contact within 4 hrs. but no contact was made and again i called the customer care and within 24 hrs they will do it. mean time i asked the showroom person to contact the office and ask regardin my query. she told that to get the same no. i have to give the proof which i gave 4 years ago and again to go the to the dealer from whom i got the sim. i was working in gummudipoondi at that time and now i am in kumbakonam. i called the person who got my no. and he has got his original no. but till now(7/12/07) i am not able to get my no. the customer care service itself was cut from my contact no.(ie only message i can send). i tried with my friends no and it was going. what airtel is going to do for this?
