This has reference to my Delhi Return Air ticket booked through Go air airlines on 04/10/2007 through ezeego1.com internet site. Vide reference Booking No-EZR-2007-159998/A & Confirmation No-Q1GC27 It was booked smoothly and confirmed itinerary Number and e-ticket was emailed on my Email Id. This ticket was booked for my family i.e. my wife and my 1 year old daughter. As per the details available on the site I have booked the Return air ticket for a sum of Rs.7171/- which was duly collected by you from my Citibank credit card. But when I went to Mumbai air port on 17/11/07 at morning 4.30 A.M for boarding, I was shocked & surprised to here that airline staff told me to deposit additional amount of Rs.4800/- at cash counter before issuing the boarding pass as there was an error in issuing the ticket. I was astonished by such reply how such a big amount is being demanded for at this stage of time .they are referring the matter to ezeego for such incident. Why such thing was not informed to me at early stage when I booked the tickets my address and telephone Numbers were available with you .I tried to contact to ezeego representative but their number will continuously go engaged. It was well argued with airlines representative but they are repeating only to deposit the money or else they will cancel the ticket. As I have to go to attend my urgent work at Haridwar and connected train was booked from Delhi to haridrar, I have left with no option but to deposit the money to board the plane. But such incident has spoiled my and my family mood as paying such money from a middle class person (being a government employee) at early morning hours was very hard for me.
Due to the above facts I have suffered financial loss of Rs. 4800/- and a mental harassment in front of so many passenger for a no mistake of mine. It has also spoiled my mood during my vacation to my native. For that I Claim a compensation of Rs.10000/-.
