I am Kompella Gupteshwar (M.Com, MBA-finance, DAST), working as a Head of the Accounts Department with M/s Euro Ceramics Ltd, Bhachau, Kutch Dist Gujarat and staying at Company Quarter at Bhachau.
Instead of going for other brands , I have purchased one Videocon washing machine Model No : “Multie 6001 Triway Turbo Wash “ from Prakash Electronics, Opp Swagat Hotel, Gandhidham-370201, Kutch Dist, Gujarat. (Invoice No : 628 dated 27.10.2007.) on 27.10.2007
Seeing the Big Company like Videocon and its Brand , even it is available at Bhachau, I have purchased it from Mr. Rrakash from Prakash Electronices , Gandhidham, arranging my own transportation cost of Rs.500/-.
As soon as on 28.10.2007 morning I started operating the washing machine, there was a problem in Spinner (Dryer), while I put wet clothes and started the operation, there was a continuous unbelievable sound ( Internal Tub was touching the Body due to unbalance) and finally I stopped the operation. IMEDIATELY I HAVE INFORMED TO PRAKESH ELECTRONICS SAME DAY.
After giving several calls to Mr. Prakash, he sent a Technician Mr.Goswami Cell:09824221755, and he has checked the above said washing machine. He has identified the defect in the spinner and due to which this type of running train sound is coming. He advised me to sent it back to Prakash electronics as warranty is there.
Basing on his information, I have sent this defective washing machine to Prakash Electronics for further action. I said to Mr Prakash , if necessary let him keep it with him for inspection and required solution for one week instead of one day , but there should not be any further complaint for the same. For 4 to 5 days it was with him. Again arranging my own transport, I brought back to my house as per Mr.Prakash’s information that it was rectified. I was very much surprised that Videocon Company’s Technician has certified that it is okay as per Mr Prakash’s information. Till the same problem is there as earlier.
I was informed by Mr Prakash that I have to contact only to the company’s Technician . i.e Mr.Suresh & Mr.Rajesh cell No : 09879570691.Finally Mr. Prakash is telling That Sales is only his part and service is Company’s Responsibility. No return at all .
Company’s Technical person is not coming to look into this matter even several reminders I am giving . Warranty period is there .Finally I am suffering a lot.
I AM VERY SORRY TO SAY THAT COMPANY LIKE VIDEOCON IS VERY POOR IN GIVING THE SERVICES TO ITS CUSTOMERS.
Sir, If I am not getting any positive response from Videocon , I will be highly forced to take the next step as I am mentally very much strained with this bad experience.
Sir, Once Videocon Company is certifying that “Tested and O.K” , I fail to understood why it is happening so.
I highly hope that you will look in to this matter and help me in this regard for which I shall be ever grateful to you all and your entire team.
