I had purchased Sony Ericsson (SE) P1i on 9/11/2007. The phone stopped working within a months time. On calling SE helpline, I was directed to a service centre. I gave my phone at service centre on 12/12/07. I was told a day later that the main board had failed and needs replacement.
On repeated queries on the possible reason for a newly launced phone to go defective in a month, no explanation was given by SE. Finally, I asked for a refund, after which, SE has stopped responding to my emails. Mr. Brijesh did call me, but that was of no help to me.
SE has yet to give proper resolution.
