On the 5th Dec, 07 I lodged a complaint with the Kenstar office regarding my washing machine. My machine was making a lot of noise and water was leaking from the underside. I went out of town soon after and returned on the 11th Dec. On the 12th I phoned Kenstar once more only to be told that the Washing machine division of Kenstar was not being handled by Videocon. I got their phone numbers and phoned Videocon. On the 14th two of the service boys came to check the machine. They told me that the bearing had to be replaced and the seal too had to be replaced and they said they would come on Monday the 17th Dec,07. When I phoned on monday I was told that the person who does the bearing and seal work was on leave on coming back on 22nd Dec. In the meantime i am using my machine which is progressively getting worse. I phoned again on the 22nd and was told that the "expert" mechanic had not come into office as yet. On 24th afternoon at 1.00 pm I got a call from a mechanic who knew about the case and was in Vasco and on his way to my house which is at Holy Cross Colony, Chicalim which is about 5kms out of Vasco. I gave him directions as to where to come. Would you believe, today is 26th Dec and he has still not arrived!! I phoned the office today and spoke to Shirodkar who denied any knowledge of my case and is due to phone me back (he said in 5 minutes). It is now half an hour and there has still been no call. What do I do in a case like this? I am at the mercy of Videocon. Is the kind of service we are to expect from Videocon and what about my washing machine?
Solution of your complaint
I have no idea. When I dealt with the Kenstar people I did not have to be after them like this. If you are looking for a solution from the customer, then you should give up the service contract fro Kenstar.
