I redeemed 3000 reward points against my ICICI Bank Credit Card by placing an Internet Redemption request on December 22, 2007. I received the vouchers (HPCL Pertol Redemption Vouchers) on December 26, 2007. Since these vouchers were expiring on Dec 31 (not mentioned on the Internet), the HP petrol pump (City Service Station, J.P. Nagar, Bangalore) refused to take them when presented the same on Dec 28, 2007. A call to ICICI bank the next day was made and they told me that somebody would get back to me the next day. Unfortunately, I did not take any request number at that time. I again made a call on Dec 31 and I was told that points would be re-credited to my account. However, on calling today (Jan 5, 2008). I was told that the concerned department considered the issue and decided to disregard it. This has resulted in a loss of 3000/- for me now. 

Solution of your complaintThe bank should recredit the points to my account - I have the vouchers, the courier slips, etc. with me which I can return to them. 
ActionI intend to take the complaint to the consumer court if this issue remains unsolved.
